Woodworm, Deathwatch Beetle, and Capricornes
If the house timbers or furniture in your house are riddled with holes, dropping powdered wood, or you are kept awake by the sound of them tapping, then you may have an active infestation of Woodworm, Deathwatch Beetle, or Capricornes larvae. They are unlikely to cause structural problems but you probably prefer not to share your living space with them. Call Applicateur 3D to get your woodwork treated.
We use professional wood treatment products which kill emerging grubs and beetles when they eat the treated wood. It also protects your wood from further infestations for up to 10 years (in ideal conditions).
The ideal time for wood treatment is in the springtime, when adults are emerging, mating and laying eggs.
We do not perform wood injection, as it can be unsightly and, in our opinion, offers no extra benefit to surface treatment with a pressurised spray.
